Get Plugged In!

With a laptop and an ethernet cable, you can now plug in several places in the Stauffacher Student Commons area and in the library. Designated ports in specific areas have been provided for you to plug in your computer to use the school's network/internet connection.

In order to use these ports, you must have:

- An SFCC account
- Current/active anti-virus protection
- Current Microsoft updates

If your computer is infected, you must resolve the issue prior to plugging into the school's network. 

After you are plugged in, bring up your favorite internet browser and follow the directions on the screen. Instructions and FAQs are available if you need additional assistance.

If you are not able to connect and have followed the instructions, you can get additional assistance from the HelpDesk by calling 866-295-3070 or from a school phone, extension 7711.  

The SFCC Bookstore has ethernet cables and Symantec Anti-virus software available for purchase.
