Academic Tutoring/Computer Lab
At SFCC we want students to reach their educational goals; therefore, we offer free tutoring to any SFCC student at the Sedalia campus and online. Following is a list of subjects in which tutoring is offered:

The tutoring lab is located in the Yeater Learning Center room 150; the entrance is just off the Yeater Center lobby.
Summer semester hours:
7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday
Fall and spring semester hours:
7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday
7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
Online Math Tutoring:
Students taking Basic Math, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra or College Algebra who are unable to come to the Sedalia campus for tutoring may email questions or request a Web tutoring session (only questions over specific mathematical concepts, chapter section or homework problems will be addressed).

Online English and Writing Tutoring:
Students not able to come to the Sedalia campus to visit the English and writing tutors may send their papers to the tutors via email. Because English and writing tutors change each semester, their names and emails are posted in mySTAR > Academic Success Center channel.
Other subjects are available for online tutoring by request and with a completed referral form from an instructor.

Computers with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Internet access are available for student use in the Yeater Learning Center, Room 183 (between the Proctor Library and the tutoring lab).
Yeater computer lab hours for summer, fall and spring semesters are as follows:
