How to schedule an event
What is e-SERV? e-SERV stands for electronic-Scheduling of Events, Resources and Vehicles. The online application will replace Lotus Notes for scheduling classrooms, meetings, special events and activities and vehicles. In addition, support resources may also be requested through e-SERV. Examples of support resources include: cameras, carts, easels, flipcharts, LCD projectors, microphones or TVs.
In addition to scheduling activities, anyone on campus with access to a computer can access e-SERV to view events. This will be especially helpful when looking for the time or location of an on-campus activity for our own knowledge, but also as visitors call or stop in offices inquiring about the time or location of events they are attending. Simply choose View Events to see the information.
I'ts IMPORTANT to note that e-SERV does not replace calling the ETS HelpDesk, using the HDO (online HelpDesk), or using Track-It. Those applications still need to be used to request resources or services when a room reservation is not needed.
Additional services
You may need to open additional tickets with the ETS HelpDesk Online (HDO) or with the Maintenance Track-It system for additional services.
