Have you ever wondered how the Donald C. Proctor Library got its name?  Here is some information about our namesake:

Dr. Donald C. Proctor was a founding member of the SFCC Board of Trustees.  He was elected to the board on April 15, 1966.  He served in that capacity for 36 years until he retired in 2002.  in recognition of his years of service to the college, the library was named in his honor upon his retirement.  Dr. Proctor was also a founding member of the SFCC Foundation board of directors and is now a board member emeritus.
