Dual Credit Information
If you took dual credit courses in high school, that means the credit counted for both high school and for college.
Your first step is to have an official transcript sent to SFCC from the college that granted your credit. (Your high school transcript will not serve as your official college transcript)
Your second step is to include this in your Career Plan. If you are uncertain about how this credit fits into the SFCC degree plans, then be sure to bring a copy of this college transcript with you when you come to register for classes. Your high school counselor can also help you determine how this credit will apply to your degree.
Finally, be sure that you DON'T repeat the course at SFCC. Let your advisor know that you have dual credit so he or she will check your course history.
