Health Occupations

Prepare for a career in the health care field.  Learn about body systems, structure and function, emergency procedures, medical terminology, vital signs, communication, career opportunities, safety, and prevention and control diseases.  Job shadow at a variety of sites in the community.  Emphasis is placed on the student's stated interest area.  Students have the opportunity to obtain first aid, CPR, and Certified Nurse Assistatant (CNA) certifications.
