Office of Institutional Advancement
Welcome
The Office of Institutional Advancement is responsible for development, alumni relations, public relations, marketing and communications, and grant writing. The office leads the way in communicating the college's needs and messages and continually cultivates vital relationships with donors, alumni, faculty, staff, students, the media, and the communities we serve.
Development & Alumni Relations
Development efforts include annual giving, planned giving, endowments and scholarships, memorial gifts, gift processing, and stewardship of the assets of the SFCC Foundation, the fund-raising arm that exists to support the mission of the college. State Fair Community College was largely made possible by the generous donations of individuals who had the foresight to see that an investment in education was an investment in the future.
Each year, more than 400 SFCC graduates earn the distinction of becoming a college graduate and a member of the SFCC alumni. With more than 8,800 graduates living across Missouri and the United States, alumni relations seeks to maintain a lifelong relationship between an SFCC graduate and the college.
Grant Writing
Grant writing efforts consist of researching and writing grant proposals to government agencies for the purpose of funding SFCC projects and programs.
