Student Employment
The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time on-campus jobs for students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the results of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There are a variety of jobs available in such areas as the bookstore, the cafe, the library, computer labs and others. To obtain an application, click here for a PDF file or visit the Student Services Office located in the Hopkins Building. All completed applications should be returned to Student Services where they will be screened for eligibility based upon the following criteria:
- The student has completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the semester the student plans to work and
- The student is full-time (12 or more credit hours) during the semester he/she plans to work and
- The student has unmet need as determined by the results of their FAFSA.
Students who qualify for work study will be given first consideration for available positions; however, some positions may be open to those who do not meet the above qualifications. Regardless, all students interested in obtaining on-campus employment should complete the application. Once your application has been screened for eligibility, a copy will be forwarded to those offices you indicated on your application who have vacancies.
