The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time on-campus jobs for students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the results of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There are a variety of jobs available on campus. To obtain an application go to Testing and Career Services in the Yeater Building, visit the Student Services Office located in the Hopkins Building, or print one from the right hand side of this page. All completed applications should be returned to the Testing and Career Services Office or Student Services where they will be screened for eligibility.
To be eligible for Work Study you must meet all three of the following requirements:
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the semester(s) you plan to work
- Be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours) during the semester(s) you plan to work
- Have unmet need as determined by the results of your FAFSA.
Students who qualify for work study will be given first consideration for available positions; however, some positions may be open to those who do not meet the above qualifications. Regardless, all students interested in obtaining on-campus employment should complete the application. Once your application has been screened for eligibility, a copy will be forwarded to those offices you indicated on your application who have vacancies.
