The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time on-campus jobs for students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the results of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There are a variety of jobs available on campus. Complete the online SFCC work study application to be considered for a position.
To be eligible for work study you must meet all three of the following requirements:
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the semester(s) you plan to work
- Be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours) during the semester(s) you plan to work
- Have unmet need as determined by the results of your FAFSA.
Students who qualify for work study will be given first consideration for available positions; however, some positions may be open to those who do not meet the above qualifications. Regardless, all students interested in obtaining on-campus employment should complete the application. Once your application has been screened for eligibility, a copy will be forwarded to those offices you indicated on your application who have vacancies.
