As an office assistant, you may be responsible for managing huge amounts of data that make up the back bone of businesses and services. Office employees are expected to be skilled in the use of computers, have strong people and organizational skills, and be able to produce accurate materials in a timely manner.
Program requirements
Professional Certificate in Secretarial Science with Emphasis in Office Assisting program requirements.
Job outlook
The job outlook for office employees is good--it's projected at a 19 percent growth rate. Office assisting represents one of the top 10 fastest-growing occupations.
