How to pay for college
Submit the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FASFA) to apply for federal grants and loans at the same time you apply for admission. Apply early to ensure that your aid will be in place by fall semester. You will need information from the previous year's federal tax returns to complete the FASFA; apply as early as February 1. Click on how to pay for college for a link to the FASFA form and other information about SFCC scholarships.
A federal financial aid application is good for
one academic year; you will need to apply each year you attend college.
As soon as your admissions file is complete (application, all transcripts, placement scores, and $25 application fee) you will receive a letter and other information from the Advising & Resource Center regarding the next steps!
*The $25 application fee will no longer required for students applying for the fall 2013 semester. The fee still applies for students applying for the summer 2013 semester.
