The State Fair Community College Academic and Student Support Services offices host a showcase for business and industry as well as transfer schools during March of each year. This event provides an opportunity for SFCC graduates to explore career paths and future educational opportunities. Employers and transfer schools are charged a fee to participate.
The Grad Fair is a great opportunity for your company to identify potential employees, but you do not need to have any job openings to participate in the Fair. We encourage you to come and build positive relationships with students and other community members. We do request that as you interact with attendees that you provide positive and constructive feedback regarding their cover letters and resumes. Our goal is to provide participants with a networking and learning experience that helps students reach their career goals and gives you the chance to talk about your business or industry.
During October of each year, SFCC and the Missouri Career Center partner to host a Job Fair that is open to SFCC students and the public. The event is held at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. Area employers with part-time and full-time openings are invited to participate. Employers are charged a fee to participate.
