New technologies in breast imaging are advancing quickly; attend to increase your knowledge and remain current. Earn continuing education credits or explore the field of Mammography and expand your career!

Join us for this comprehensive four-day mammography training course that covers all aspects pertaining to training for radiologic technologists interested in crossing over into mammography, as well as the experienced technologist.The four-day workshop is designed to provide attendees with the initial training necessary to fulfill the requirements set forth by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and is an excellent resource for technologists intending to take the ARRT Mammography registry in the near future. Attend only one or two days or all four.

Day 2-Mammographic Positioning and Film/Screen Mammography

Day 3-Digital Mammography and Beyond

Day 4-Diagnostic Procedures, Breast Cancer Treatments and Positioning Lab

About the Instructor

Darla Mounce, BA, RT (R)(M) CBPN C-I

Darla is currently the Clinical Applications Specialist for Hologic, Inc. in Danbury, Connecticut. She has been a registered radiologic technologist for more than 25 years. Darla has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ottowa University. She strives to provide quality continuing education opportunities that will have an impact on future technologists.

ASRT Certification

This four-day workshop provides 33.75 hours of continuing education credit. A certificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upon completion of the workshop.
