Advanced  Placement Radiography Training*

The Advanced Placement Radiography Training is designed to assist military members and JRCERT trained individuals who are no longer eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry. This online training allows students the flexibility to study at times convenient for them. Students will review all material needed to pass the ARRT Radiography examination throughout this program. Student will be provided the opportunity to complete required ARRT clinical exam competencies at a clinical site close to home. Curriculum is as follows:

The following will be completed while in the clinical setting:

  • Students must complete vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations)
  • Sterile and aseptic techniques
  • Venipuncture (IV)
  • Transfer of patient
  • Care of patient medical equipment (ex: oxygen tank, IV tubing, etc.)
  • ARRT required exams

 Application for admission should be available late July or early August. Training will begin in January.
