Electrical and Power
Electrical Power Transmission Installation programs teach students how to install the electrical systems that provide power for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Electrical power transmission installers need to have relevant technical knowledge of these systems and of the electrical transmission lines that supply the power.
Additionally, professional electrical power transmission installers need to be able to follow safety protocols and to interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Electricians are also responsible for upkeep and maintenance of power transmission equipment after installation. Strong math and science reasoning skills are essential for this career path.
