Planning a future in engineering? Starting at SFCC gives you the advantage.
SFCC's engineering curriculum is designed for students who want to earn bachelor's degrees in any engineering field at a four-year college or university. This program provides students with the first two years of study toward a Bachelor of Science degree at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (MS&T) in Rolla, MO. However, SFCC has transfer agreements with other colleges and universities as well.
Students who pursue an engineering degree should:
- Have strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Have strong math skills and excellent technical knowledge
- Be able to think logically
- Be detail oriented and creative
- Be a team player
SFCC can prepare students to apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems and can lay the foundation for a variety of engineering fields such as
Aerospace, agricultural, architectural, biomedical, chemical, civil, construction, electrical, environmental, industrial manufacturing, marine, materials, mechanical, mining, network, nuclear, petroleum, process, project, quality, safety, sales, software, solar, structural, and systems
With SFCC's state-of-the-art facilities in the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center, small class sizes, attentive faculty, and affordable tuition, students have the opportunity to gain a well-rounded educational foundation in engineering science and its related fields.
