5I2. With regard to your current results for leading and communicating, how do you se targets for improvement? What specific improvement priorities are you targeting and how will these be addressed? How do you communicate your current results and improvement priorities to students, faculty, staff, administrators, and appropriate stakeholders?
SFCC has established a KPI to reduce the difference by 10 percent in the top five performance gaps on the Campus Quality Survey by spring 2010. These targets were set by the ELT after considerable review of the last three surveys (ratings and comments), related institutional trend lines and employee feedback.
Based on 2008 survey results, improvement priorities will include formalizing an institutional
succession plan, expanding professional development opportunities, improving employee rewards and recognition and continuing the review of and improvements to the communication plan.
CQS results and improvement projects will be shared on mySTAR via the President’s Pen and in departmental and unit meetings. The complete survey will be linked to the Systems Portfolio via the Web site that can be accessed by external stakeholders.
