Admission application
Access the
online admissions application and submission guidelines at this link.
Advising and enrolling
Three business days after you have submitted the online admissions application, you will receive an e-mail from the
Advising & Resource Center with your User ID and Password. This e-mail will also give you instructions on how to log in to mySTAR and find the registration tools for enrolling in classes.
Paying for college
Submit the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FASFA) to apply for federal grants and loans at the same time you apply for admission. Apply early to ensure that your aid will be in place by fall semester; apply as early as February 1. You will need information from the previous year's federal tax returns to complete the FASFA. Click on how to pay for college for a link to the FASFA form and more information about financial aid and SFCC scholarships.
A federal financial aid application is good for one academic year; you will need to apply for each year you attend college.
Tuition and Fees-- This link goes to information about tuition and fees and to payment options and when payments are due. In addition to the appropriate tuition and fees rate based on your residency, online courses require a $25 per credit hour fee based on the current 2009-2010 rates.
