Former SFCC Players Teams Advance to NCAA National Tournament

Amber Mays who is a 2008 graduate, a former SFCC Lady Roadrunner, and an All-American is in the Womens NCAA Basketball tournament with the Liberty University Flames from Lynchburg, VA. Amber Mays, a 5'6" point guard, will be facing the Louisville Cardinals in the 1st round on March 22nd at 9:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge, LA. The game will be broadcast on 90.9 FM or on TV ESPN2. Shytoria Davis, a 6'3" post, will be facing the #9 seed Michigan State on March 21st at 11 a.m. The Blue Raiders overall record is 28-5. The game will be on TV ESPN2. Alexandria Brockington a former 2008 Lady Roadrunner is in the Women's Elite 8 NCAA Tournament with the Clayton State Lady Lakers from Morrow, GA. Alexandria Brockington, a 6'2" post, will be facing Alaska-Anchorage on March 24th in San Antonio, TX at 3:30 p.m. The Clayton Lady Lakers record is 26-6.
