The Roadrunners played in front of their fans for the first time this season on Oct. 23, defeating the Missouri Valley College Vikings Varsity 99-80 in the annual Highway 65 Shoot-Out at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.
The Roadrunners trailed 39-26 in the first half, but cut the deficit to two by halftime.

SFCC outscored Missouri Valley 56-35 in the second half to secure the victory.
Freshman wing Kedar Edwards recorded a double double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, leading his team in both categories. Edwards also dished out a team-high five assists and a team-high three steals. Freshman wing Jerrard Davis contributed 15 points, including a perfect three of three from beyond the three-point arc. Sophomore guard Joseph Thomasson added 14 points. Sophomore guard Kevin Punter and freshman center Jean-Louis Wanya pitched in with 11 points each.
