The Lady Roadrunners (6-2) defeated the Vincennes University Trailblazers 81-46 Nov. 20 in Vincennes, Ind.
“Our defensive pressure really got after them,” said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Kevin Bucher. “Our guards did a really good job of causing turnovers. We converted most of those turnovers into points.”
The Lady Roadrunners jumped out to a 21-8 lead with about 13 minutes remaining in the first half. SFCC led 41-28 at halftime and made the plays down the stretch to secure the important road victory.
Freshman guard Antoinette Taylor led five Lady Roadrunners in double figures with 21 points. Freshman forward Asia Mosley contributed 16 points. Freshman guard Adella Randle-EL and sophomore guard Mia Wesley added 15 points apiece. Freshman guard Apiphany Woods pitched in with 10 points in the game.
