Three Rivers opened the game with a 9-0 run in the first four minutes. SFCC sophomore forward Jallisa Lewis broke the scoring drought with a basket. She was fouled in the act of shooting but missed the free throw. A jump shot from freshman guard Jermisha Watson trimmed the deficit to 9-4 with just under 15 minutes remaining in the first half.

Lewis pulled SFCC to within one point when she knocked down a three-point basket off a pass from sophomore guard Alexas Brown to make the score 17-16 with under nine minutes left until halftime. The Lady Raiders extended their lead to three points on the next possession. Brown knocked down a three-point bomb to tie the game at 19.

The Lady Raiders answered with a 5-0 run to take back the lead at 24-19. SFCC responded with a 6-0 run to take a one-point lead at 25-24 with under four minutes left in the half. The lead was the first of the evening for SFCC. The Lady Roadrunners took a 33-29 advantage into halftime.

Three Rivers opened the second half with a 5-0 run to take back a one-point advantage. The Lady Raiders pushed the lead to three with a layup off a turnover by SFCC.

SFCC sophomore forward Cheyenne Williams tied the game at 40 with an old-fashioned three-point play with less than 13 minutes to go in the game.

Three Rivers went on a 9-0 run to seize the momentum in the game with less than 10 minutes left. The Lady Raiders made the plays down the stretch to secure the victory.

Sophomore guard Ariel Easton led SFCC in scoring with 13 points and Lewis contributed 10 points. Sophomore guard Brittany Silas pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. Freshman guard Ryneka Church dished out a team-high three assists and Easton and Church tied for the team lead in steals with two each. Williams registered a team-high two blocked shots in the game.

SFCC will travel to Harrison, Ark., Feb. 9 to take on the North Arkansas College Lady Pioneers. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
