Kaci Cason signs with Lady Roadrunners
The Lady Roadrunners have signed another student athlete for the 2011-2012 school year.
Kaci Cason, a 5’ 9” guard/forward from McCluer North High School in Florissant, helped lead her team to a 15-10 record during her senior season. She finished the year as the sixth leading scorer in the St. Louis area, averaging 21.7 points per game. She also contributed 8.6 rebounds per game, 3.2 steals and 3.6 assists. Head Coach was Dwayne Polk.
Cason was named to the all-conference team as a sophomore and was named the MVP of many basketball tournaments throughout her career at McCluer North. She was named conference MVP and first-team all-conference as a junior and senior. During her career she was a three-time recipient of the North County Suburban Journal Athlete of the Week Award. She also was a state qualifier in track and field.
Cason plans to major in criminal justice at SFCC.
“I decided SFCC would be the best fit for me,” she said.
