Lady Roadrunners Bounce Back with Win
The fourth-ranked Lady Roadrunners picked up a 95-51 Homecoming victory Feb. 19 over the Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds.
SFCC (23-3, 9-1 in Region XVI) jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead courtesy of pair of layups from sophomore guard Hattie Harris. SFCC stretched the lead to 43-28 with three minutes remaining in the half.
“Moberly is down to seven players,” said Lady Roadrunners Head Coach Kevin Bucher. “We know we have to push the ball and pressure them. Our defense was good tonight.”
