Wednesday, February 24, 2010
The State Fair Community College Athletic Department will introduce its 2010 Roadrunner Athletics Hall of Fame inductees during halftime of the men’s basketball game Saturday night in the Davis Center.

Inductees in this year’s class are former coach Bill Barton and basketball players Joe Wright and Aaron Collier. Barton was the men’s basketball coach at SFCC from 1970-2005 and athletic director from 1970-1992. Wright played from 1982-1984 and Collier played from 1989-1991. Both played for Coach Barton and went on to play basketball at Kansas State University.

Bob Hoskins and Tim West, members of the first Hall of Fame class in 2009, also will be recognized that night.

The Roadrunners’ game against the Mineral Area College Cardinals begins at 7:30 p.m. The Lady Roadrunners play at 5:30 p.m.

A reception for the 2010 inductees will follow the men’s game in the Kempton Room in the Davis Center. The three will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame March 26 at the annual SFCC Athletic Banquet.
