W 73-56

The Lady Roadrunners (4-0) traveled to Kaskaskia College on Nov. 14 and came away with a 73-56 win.
"I thought Dahlia Booker had a very strong game for us. Arriana Walker played a really good game. Brittany Young scored pretty well," said Assistant Coach Kevin Bucher.
Young scored 19 points to lead the team in scoring. She also added five rebounds. Walker had a solid all-around game with 11 points, six steals and six assists. Booker contributed nine points and nine rebounds, and two steals. Ciara Leak contributed eight points, five rebounds and three assists. Hattie Harris pitched in eight points, two rebounds and two assists, and Jaleisha Barrett contributed eight rebounds.
Bucher sees two major areas the Lady Roadrunners need to improve. They need to continue to work on free-throw shooting and converting on lay-ups.
"If we play two halves, this team could be really good," says Bucher.
The team will travel to North Central College in Trenton Nov. 17 to take on the Lady Pirates. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
