Coordinator, Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center and Spirit Squad coach Dana Page

My father and my sisters and I attended classes at SFCC years ago and my husband and our children are all SFCC graduates. Because we had met several great teachers and administrators at the college who made a huge impact on our family, I felt this would be a great place to work.

My love for cheerleading actually brought me to work part-time at SFCC. I was excited about the opportunity to work full-time as the planning and event coordinator for the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center because I like to plan and organize all types of events. Working with other staff members and area businesses to pull off an event is sometimes challenging but well worth it in the end.

I believe education helps students grow, achieve their goals and become productive members of society. It pleases me that I can provide opportunities for students to enrich their experience at SFCC by offering activities outside of the classroom.

I also enjoy seeing and talking to people who utilize our inside walking track and who attend our sporting and special events such as the annual craft show and community-wide fitness challenge. We have an awesome facility, and I want to bring in more events that will benefit both our students and the region we serve.
