SFCC offers health care information sessions April 16 and May 21

SEDALIA—State Fair Community College will offer two free health career information sessions this spring for prospective students and current SFCC, transfer and high school students.

Sessions will meet from 5-6:30 p.m. April 16 and from 6-7:30 p.m. May 21 in Thompson Conference Center A of the Heckart Science and Allied Health Building on the Sedalia campus.

The sessions will provide an overview of dental hygiene, radiologic technology, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, health information technology, and health care specialist careers as well as the correlating programs SFCC offers.

Participants will learn about the application process, courses needed in preparation for entering a program and how the programs are structured.
