SFCC Theatre Arts students to present comedy
2/5/2010-2/22/2010
Members of the State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present the comedy “Over the River and Through the Woods” Feb. 17-21 in the Stauffacher Theatre on campus.
In this loaded-with-laughs comedy, Nick, a single Italian-American guy, dines every Sunday evening with both sets of hilarious grandparents. One day he breaks the news that his long awaited dream job has just arrived—across the country in Seattle.
Things get as twisted as spaghetti as his grandparents plot to keep Nick in New Jersey.
Regular performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17-20; admission is $6 for the public and free for SFCC students, faculty and staff. Tickets are $14 for a Feb. 20 dinner theater; dinner begins at 6 p.m. A matinee free to anyone 60 or older will be presented at 2 p.m. Feb. 21. This show is appropriate for all ages.
For tickets, call the Box Office at (660) 530-5814 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, or e-mail
tickets@sfccmo.edu. Wheelchair seating is available in designated areas upon request by Feb. 10.
