SFCC named to 2014 'Military Friendly Schools' list
SEDALIA—State Fair Community College has been named to Victory Media’s Military Friendly Schools® list for the third time.
The 2014 list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
The list was compiled through extensive research during which Victory Media polled more than 10,000 schools nationwide. The 1,868 schools on this year’s list exhibit leading practices in the recruitment and retention of students with military experience.
SFCC has an extended campus location at Whiteman Air Force Base and offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching and Associate of Applied Science in Paraprofessional Educator degrees.
