SFCC's Aldridge named MoCPA Support Staff of the Year

SEDALIA—Jackie Aldridge, an administrative assistant for State Fair Community College’s TRiO program, has been named Support Staff of the Year by the Missouri College Personnel Association (MoCPA).

TRiO/STEPS Advisor Nick Lang nominated Aldridge for the competitive award because of her dedication to SFCC’s students and her support in his job at SFCC and as a new professional in MoCPA college student affairs.

SFCC’s TRiO program, called Students in TRiO for Educational Preparation and Success (STEPS), provides academic and other support services to low-income, first-generation or disabled college students. It is designed to increase retention and graduation rates, facilitate transfer to four-year colleges and foster an institutional climate of support.
