SFCC Friends Scholarships
Career and Technical Schools Scholarship
This scholarship is for Career and Technical Schools that have established articulation and/or dual-credit agreements with SFCC’s career programs. Each school may nominate two students for this scholarship per year with no more than fifteen scholarships being awarded each year. The scholarships must be used the year following graduation from the Career and Technical Schools and students must enroll in the program for which articulated credit is granted. Career and Technical Scholarships are not renewable for the following academic year. Students eligible for A+ funding are not eligible for this scholarship.
District Board of Trustees Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded annually to one student in each of the ten high schools in the SFCC district. The high school officials select a student who will be attending SFCC. The scholarship must be used the year following graduation. The student must be enrolled in 12 credit hours. This scholarship is not renewable for the following academic year. Students eligible for A+ funding are not eligible for this scholarship.
High School Equivalency Certificate Academic Merit Scholarships
These scholarships are open to high school equivalency certificate recipients who have tested within the last 5 years and earned a minimum score of 2700. The applicant must have participated at one of the SFCC sponsored GED class sites. This scholarship is renewable for a maximum of three additional semesters upon maintaining a 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4 point scale), and completion of 24 semester hours for the academic year.
